London Stock Exchange Group announces 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain

Thursday, 25 May 2017, London: At Optal we’re on a mission to revolutionise B2B payments, reinventing the platform for the digital age. It’s a mission which has already seen us named Europe’s fastest-growing financial services firm by the Financial Times. Well, we’re delighted to report that Optal has scooped yet another highly sought-after accolade, after the London Stock Exchange Group named us one of the 1,000 most inspirational companies in Britain.

In great company

Now in its fourth year, the group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report is a unique collection of the country’s most dynamic organisations, designed to showcase the businesses that make the UK such a diverse and fast-growing economy. Only those recording the strongest revenue growth and sector performance over the past three years are eligible, so at Optal we’re naturally thrilled to have made the list.

This is an initiative with backing at the highest levels of government – including the Prime Minister herself, Theresa May – which makes it doubly pleasing to have been selected as one of the country’s most vibrant companies.

Making payments simple has always been our core mission. When it comes to the B2B world, organisations often struggle with manual processes, creating unnecessary cost and an increased risk of fraud. The Optal digital, end-to-end platform brings transparency, efficiency and security to the whole process – ensuring suppliers are paid accurately, on time, and in a fully auditable and secure manner.
